Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are the semi-crispy ones. If you like chewy, move along.

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp water
2 eggs
12 oz. chocolate ships or chunks

Bake at 350F until golden.
